Wintry-white Gingerbread House Cake
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Learn the skills to make a holiday themed gingerbread house cake. You will use white buttercream, sparking sugar, a mini gingerbread houses kit, basic buttercream piping techniques and your imagination to create a one-of-a-kind gingerbread house cake with a gingerbread house cake topper.
Each student will receive a 6-inch 2-layer cake and a mini gingerbread house kit that includes 4 mini gingerbread houses and edible decorations. Student can choose to decorate their cakes using the colorful kit decorations or create a wintry-white, sparkling gingerbread house cake.
The techniques learned in this class can be used in making other themed cakes using decorated cookies.
