The Basics: Private Cake Decorating

This class is an introduction to the basic art of frosting and decorating a cake. If you have always wanted to learn to decorate a cake, then this class is for YOU. If you have been making cakes and want to brush up on your skills, then this is the class for YOU.

Learn the skills to properly fill, torte, and frost a cake. Practice basic borders and decorative piping. Learn how to prepare a cake for frosting, color frosting, fill and properly hold a piping bag. Students will learn border and piping techniques and make decorations such as flowers and writing.

All supplies included. All ages.

In-Person Baking Classes

In-person private lessons for Kids or Adults with a personalized agenda based on what you want to learn.

There are lessons designed to teach new bakers how to bake from scratch, use home kitchen equipment properly, kitchen and food safety best practices, or experienced bakers to perfect a specific skill with cake, dessert baking, or an adult + child activity. And if you have a baking friend who also wants to learn, the classes can accommodate up to two!

CLASS PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • Full payment is due upon signing up for a class. Your spot is not held until payment has been made.

  • 100% of class fees are transferable to another class if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before class.

  • There is NO TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO ANOTHER CLASS IF CANCELLATION IS GIVEN IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. Sorry, we are unable to make exceptions. This ensures that other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing learning opportunities due to late cancellations.

  • No-shows forfeit any refund or transfer.
